Quote a job

Price a job before you do it, then turn the "yes" into an invoice.

A written quote does two jobs: it wins the work (a fast, tidy quote often beats a cheaper one that arrives three days later) and it sets the price in writing — so when the invoice lands there’s nothing to argue about. And because the accepted quote becomes the invoice, you never type the job twice.

  1. On Home, tap the mic and speak the job, then choose Save as a quote.
  2. Share the quote PDF. It’s valid for 30 days and expires on its own after that.
  3. When the customer says yes: open the quote → Accept → it becomes a draft invoice with the same lines. Send it (see Send an invoice).
Quoting from the driveway, before you’ve left, is the habit that pays: the job is fresh, the customer is engaged, and you’re first in their inbox.
