Set up online payments

So customers can pay you in a tap and you’re paid sooner.

Most late payments aren’t refusals — they’re "I’ll do the transfer when I’m at the computer", forgotten. A Pay now link removes that gap: the customer pays by card or Apple Pay in the moment, from the message you just sent. It’s the single biggest lever in Speakpaid for getting paid days sooner — and because payments reconcile themselves, you stop doing the "has it landed yet?" bank-checking too.

1. Go to Settings → Payments.
2. Connect Stripe (card & Apple Pay) — tap Connect and follow the quick setup (it opens in your browser).
3. Now every invoice can show a Pay now option.

Use it on a job

1. Open the invoice → Send card pay link.
2. It goes to the customer with the amount pre-filled.
3. When they pay, the invoice marks itself paid (auto-reconciled) and drops off "Needs chasing".

Already have a Stripe account? Tap “Connect it” under the Connect button to link your existing Stripe instead of creating a new one.
