Bill a job that took several visits

Build one invoice up over days, then send it once.

Multi-day jobs are where money quietly leaks: the second visit’s materials, the extra hour on day three — remembered vaguely at the end, billed low or not at all. Keeping one draft that grows with the job means every visit’s work is captured the day it happens, and the customer gets a single clear invoice instead of a confusing string of them.

  1. Keep the job as a draft (Save draft after the first visit).
  2. Each visit: open the draft from InvoicesAdd line for the new work, set the amount, attach photos if useful.
  3. When the job’s finished, Send invoice.
A draft has no invoice number until you send — so your numbering never has gaps.
